Coffee is my happy place. And I don’t drink it black…it needs to be the perfect shade of creaminess. The only thing better? Festive coffee! I have discovered the PERFECT blend of ingredients to make my coffee at home taste like a dreamy pumpkin spice latte. Yes, please!

Why did I start making my own creamer?
I used to get excited about the festive flavors of store-bought coffee creamer that came out in the fall and winter season. But have you ever actually looked at the ingredients?! Yikes. In fact, it took me years to realize that non-dairy creamer meant it wasn’t even cream. (I know…makes no sense!) So if it’s not cream, what is it? Lovely things like “Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil”, “Corn Syrup Solids”, “Soy Lecithin”, and a host of artificial flavors and colors. So, I started trying all the healthy homemade creamer recipes I could find on Pinterest. And here’s what I found…they don’t work for me! Almond milk just doesn’t give me the creaminess I want in my morning cup of joe, and I still need a little actual sugar. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t eat a lot of sugar or dairy. But when it comes to my coffee, I don’t mess around. So eventually I found a “healthier” combination that I absolutely LOVE. Like, could-not-live-without-love. I will not claim this is healthy, but the ingredients are simple, I buy them organic, and I’ve found a happy medium that works for me.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Half & Half *
- 1 cup Heavy Cream *
- 1 14 oz. can Sweetened Condensed Milk * (I buy this one)
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup
- 2/3 cup Pumpkin Puree (my favorite)
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract (HERE‘s my recipe or get it HERE)
- 2 drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality essential oil
- 2 drops Clove Vitality essential oil
- 2 drops Nutmeg Vitality essential oil

* If you don’t do dairy, you can substitute Oat Milk for the Half & Half and cream and coconut condensed milk. This is how I currently make mine and LOVE it!
Directions
Mix all ingredients with a wire whisk until fully combined. The directions really could not be any easier! Just add as much as you like to your regular black coffee, and you have the perfect Pumpkin Spice Latte in the comforts of your own home! Not to mention it will cost you a lot less to make than a $5 PSL.
