NingXia Red Pudding Pops

May 14, 2016 Posted by Kelli Recipes, The Blooming Carrot Blog

I loved pudding pops as a kid and they bring back fond summer memories.  After my daughter’s recent tonsillectomy, I had some extra vanilla pudding and decided to try it out with NingXia Red. Winning!  One of my new favorite summer recipes!  These are seriously tasty, and a great way to get little ones the bazillion benefits from NingXia Red.

What is NingXia Red?

NingXia Red is one of Young Living’s most popular wellness supplements. This nutrient-rich drink is infused with antioxidant-providing superfruits {wolfberry, aronia, blueberry, cherry, pomegranate, and plum} and powerful essential oils {Orange, Lemon, Tangerine, and Yuzu}.  We do our best to be healthy in a world filled with processed foods and sugary drinks.  But the fact is our modern diets are still missing vital nutrients.  I start every day with a “shot” of NingXia Red to help my body maintain wellness and give me natural energy.  As a working mama of two, I need all the energy I can get!

Young Living’s wolfberry comes from the Ningxia Province in northern China, where they have known the health and longevity supporting benefits for centuries.  (You may have heard wolfberries called goji berries…the name is dependent upon where the berries are grown.)  The wolfberry contains every essential amino acid and has one of the highest percentages of fiber of any whole food.  And the goodness just goes on and on.  It contains zeaxanthin—a carotenoid important to maintaining healthy vision.  One of the many reasons we drink NingXia Red is that it supplies us with important antioxidants to energize, fortify, and replenish our bodies.  It also supports normal cellular function…yes, please!  This juice drink is so power-packed that you really only need 1 to 2 ounces of NingXia Red daily to get all the benefits.

All of this superfruit goodness is important for my kiddos’ little bodies, but we all know that getting kids to take anything healthy can sometimes be a challenge.  Enter:  NingXia Red Pudding Pops!

Here’s the awesome-sauce recipe for these pops.  WAY easy!  (Or you know I wouldn’t make it!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Vanilla Pudding (you can buy it, OR my friend Kate – the Real Food RN – has the best homemade, wholefoods recipe HERE)
  • 1/2 cup NingXia Red (get it HERE)
  • 2 drops Orange essential oil (learn about the brand I trust HERE)

Directions:

Mix ingredients in glass or stainless mixing bowl until combined.  Add to popsicle molds and freeze until solid.  For help releasing frozen pudding pops, just run under warm water for a couple of seconds until the popsicle releases easily from the mold. ENJOY! (I may have enjoyed a couple or three or four of these.)

Makes 4 NingXia Red pudding pops.

Get creative and try your own essential oil options!  Share in the comments what oils you love with NingXia Red.

Get You Some

Are you already a Young Living wholesale member?  You can order NingXia Red through your wholesale account in boxes of individual 2 ounce packets or in bottles (750 ml each).  I order both…I prefer to pour a 1 ounce shot for myself daily and also make small doses for the kids.  To ensure my hubby takes his daily drink, I keep things as EASY as possible for him.  🙂  I order him the packets so he can just grab one out of the fridge and go.

Not a Young Living member yet?  While many start their Young Living wholesale account with an essential oils starter kit, Young Living also offers a NingXia Red Premium Starter Kit!  Check out the starter kit options HERE and learn more about the benefits of having your own wholesale account.
