Let’s talk Make & Take parties. SO. MUCH. FUN. I host a Make & Take party with Young Living essential oils about once a quarter. They are such a great way to learn uses for different essential oils and to experience oils that you may not have in your own oily stash. Everyone loves that they get to take home their new goodies to enjoy!
What is a Make & Take?
At a Make & Take party, guests get to make goodies with essential oils and take them home to use and enjoy. I love to choose a fun theme for each party. Some theme ideas are a spa day, back-to-school, DIY cleaning, cooking with essential oils, mommy & me, holidays…the possibilities are limitless!
I recently hosted a summer-themed Make & Take. We made 5 summer items, plus sampled a few snacks enhanced with Young Living’s Vitality essential oils (yummo!). I usually charge between $15 and $20, depending on the cost of my supplies for the event.

Extra Touches
In addition to the “making” and snacking, I like to add some extra special touches. These events are great to introduce new people to using oils. But my primary purpose for hosting them is loving on my Young Living members and team. I like to add some extras to make it a fun and worthwhile experience for them. I always choose an appropriate combo for the diffuser and share the recipe. This time I also had little swag bags for everyone, just as a fun surprise.
