Not what I usually post, but I wanted somewhere to share all these pieces! I absolutely LOVE my master bedroom bedding. It’s just my style – light and airy. Perfect for spring and summer, but I wanted it to feel more snuggly and warm for fall and winter. So I gave it a super easy “cozy-over” (that’s a thing, right?!) by just swapping a few easy pieces to add more warm textures. It was a cost effective way to keep the quality bedding I adore but just give it a winter feel and look. I’m so happy with how it turned out!

BEFORE
Here’s the before! My bedding (as well as the side table lamps and mirror!) is from my favorite local boutique, The Schaefer House. Light, bright, cotton materials. Perfect for warm weather and lots of sunshine.
To cozy it up in here, my must-haves were:
✔️ Lots of textures
✔️ Cuddly knits
✔️ Faux fur
✔️ Layers
COZY-OVER FINDS
A few easy-peasy swaps. I replaced the thin, cotton pillow shams with quilted and winter white faux fur shams. Added throw pillows in different cuddly textures, and finished with a knit blanket at the foot of the bed layered over the duvet. Here are links!
Shams
Throw Pillows
- Chunky Diamond Throw Pillow – Gray
- Ribbed Knit Pillow Cover – Ivory/White
- Bobble Knit Pillow Cover – Stone Gray
(this one is also super cute in natural!)
Blanket
- Chunky Knit Blanket – Light Gray
(I LOVE this blanket! It’s so cute and snuggly and what a great price point!)
AFTER
Love how it turned out with just a couple of easy changes! I can’t wait to snuggle up all winter with hot coffee and a book (or let’s be real…with Netflix!). I’m thinking twinkle lights are up next!
