One of my favorite parts of fall is patio nights. Sitting under the string lights with the fire pit going, music playing and a cocktail. And smores, of course. I wanted a cocktail with a fall flair, but that was also easy to whip up. Bourbon is my favorite for fall. It warms me right up! I’m loving this Apple Bourbon Smash!

Recipe
- 2 oz of your favorite bourbon (I use a large shot glass)
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 8 oz ginger beer
- 2-3 drops Orange Vitality essential oil (if you don’t have this, you could try orange bitters instead)
Mix, fill with ice and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick. I like to make it in THESE moscow mule mugs because they keep drinks ice cold (and are also cute gifts!). It’s cute and easy, which makes it a perfect Thanksgiving drink.
You can also put a holiday twist on this same recipe by mixing apple cider and cranberry juice, and garnishing with a rosemary sprig and a few cranberries! CHEERS, friends!
XO, Kelli
